First Six Months Theatre Programme Arranged

Most of the theatres we visit have now published details of their scheduled productions for next spring and early summer.

It is always necessary to book and pay for events at the Royal Shakespeare Company theatres, in Stratford-upon-Avon, months in advance, so we have already closed booking on the visit to see “Don Quixote” in the Swan theatre next April. We have a full coach going to that performance.

We also have a full coach for our introductory tour of Wolverhampton Art Gallery, followed by “An Inspector Calls” at the Wolverhampton Grand on 3rd February. This is a sell out performance: the only tickets still available on that date are those with a restricted view (eg behind pillars). Rest assured that ours are premium-priced tickets in the Stalls.

We are currently taking applications for the trip to see Noël Coward’s “Private Lives” at the Stoke Regent in January, before its planned West End run. See Private Lives Make sure that you book early before your Christmas preparations can distract you! UPDATE on December 11th: booking now closed.

On 9th March we’ll be seeing John Steinbeck’s classic play “Of Mice and Men” at Wolverhampton Grand: More Info We’ll be sending out the booking form for this after Christmas.

On Saturday, 21st May we’ve booked to see a stage adaptation of Graham Greene’s “Travels with my Aunt” at the always popular Malvern Theatre.

And finally, a summer feel-good offering: the award-winning musical “Chicago” is on at Wolverhampton Grand on 22nd June. This is bound to be popular and although we can’t promise Richard Gere and Catherine Zeta-Jones, we can guarantee the verve and excitement of a live performance. Watch out for the booking forms towards the end of March.
