THEATRE EVENTS PROVING POPULAR

It is always difficult to predict which theatre events will be popular and which will be so under-subscribed that we can't go ahead with them. It is therefore so reassuring to note that all four of the upcoming events for which booking forms have been sent out, have full coaches.

There seems to be an awful lot of musicals on offer at theatres now: not all of them top quality. We know that musicals are popular when they're good productions and we always try to include them where possible. The upcoming events (quite varied in terms both of production and of venue) are: Jersey Boys in Liverpool and Hedda Gabler in Wolverhampton - both in January; Sleeping Beauty - the ballet - at Birmingham Hippodrome for February and The Winslow Boy at Birmingham Rep in March.

Do have a look at the Theatre Programme here to see what's coming up after that: the next booking form will be sent out in the next few days. That is for the exciting production of Macbeth at the RSC in Stratford-upon-Avon next April.
