Mussorgsky’s vivid musical pictures, brought to life in Ravel’s orchestrations, will take you on a promenade through an imaginary art gallery, from Parisian Catacombs, to a hut on hen’s legs, finally arriving with the joyous pealing carillons of the Great Gate of Kiev.
British violinist Alexander Sitkovetsky returns for Prokofiev’s dazzling Second Violin Concert.
